We serve individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges between the ages of 3 and 93, after careful screening by staff for eligibility. The screening process determines whether program activities will be safe and appropriate for the individual and which resources (Volunteers, horse, equipment, etc.) will be necessary. Once accepted into the program, individual goals are determined and progress documented weekly. Most participants will have a 30-60 minute lesson once weekly for the duration of a 12 week semester, and most will continue from one semester to the next. Activities may include mounted and unmounted work incorporating riding skills, psychotherapy, games, IEP support, and trail riding.
